There is a growing huge amount of pressure on Liverpool to sign players this summer as they have been somewhat quiet in the transfer window. The Reds have not signed any player ever since they completed the capture of French defender Ibrahima Konate from German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig before the end of last season. Konate was signed after Ozan Kabak, who was signed from Schalke on loan in January, was allowed to leave Anfield as Klopp decided against handing him the chance to complete a pernament transfer to Liverpool this summer.
The reports claim that the first name on Klopp’s list is Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman. The France international attacker is reportedly willing to leave the Allianz Arena this summer as he wishes to try a new adventure and Liverpool have been touted as his most likely destination. While the third player on the list was not mentioned, the second one is another attacker, Spain’s international forward, Adama Traore.
Both players are 25 but while Traore will cost the Reds a relatively affordable amount, Coman could cost them around €85m, an amount Liverpool would be unwilling to pay. If they are unable to convince Bayern to sell, they could be forced to look elsewhere.
